How to actually choose
- Count your whole stack, not one subscription. If you run HoneyBook plus a website builder plus an email tool, the comparison is stack-vs-platform, not app-vs-app.
- Check the processing math. Some platforms add their own percentage on top of card processing, and that grows with your revenue. With a flat subscription, card payments go through your own Stripe account at Stripe's standard rate.
- Migration is the real cost. Whatever you pick, confirm CSV client import and contract re-setup before you commit a weekend.
